The Albertville tennis teams enjoyed road victories over Lee-Huntsville on April 2.

Albertville’s girls rolled to a 9-0 decision while the boys cruised to a 7-2 triumph.
Singles winners for the AHS girls were No. 1 Mary-Catherine Mitchell (10-5), No. 2 Madeleine Mitchell (10-3), No. 3 Courtney Moore (10-2), No. 4 Savannah Young (10-2), No. 5 LeAnna Fleming (10-1) and No. 6 Meagan Moore (10-2).

Albertville’s winning doubles teams were No. 1 Mitchell/Mitchell (10-8), No. 2 Courtney Moore/Young (10-4) and No. 3 Fleming/Meagan Moore (10-3).

The Aggie boys won five of six singles matches and two doubles matches vs. Lee.

Albertville’s singles winners were No. 1 Will Siskey (10-4), No. 2 Jay Penney (10-8), No. 3 James Stack (10-3), No. 4 Trent Lynn (11-9) and No. 5 Noah Campbell (10-4).

The Aggies’ doubles winners were No. 1 Penney/Stack (10-4) and No. 2 Siskey/Lynn 10-4.

Albertville’s boys suffered a 6-3 loss to Gadsden City in an April 1 home match.

In singles, Siskey won 10-1 at No. 1 and Campbell triumphed 10-3 at No. 2.

Siskey and Lynn won 10-6 at No. 1 doubles.
